Yo people, this coming saturday will be the YES2 (youth evangelistic service) service. and if you have been around for services, you would know that it's going to be an exciting time filled with worship, testimonies and even a short drama. This is an extremely good opportunity to invite your friends and even family who have yet to know Jesus. The service begins at 6pm (party at 5pm) but as a cell, we are meeting our friends for a drink at 4.30 pm at the hawker!! Pray that God will continue to convict us this week to invite people close to our hearts!! If you are meeting any obstacles (eg: friends giving excuses etc) do post your prayer request here so that everybody can pray for them!!
The whole youth ministry has begun a prayer chain which started as of yesterday and will continue for the rest of the week till YES2!!! Our cell has been allocated a particular slot:
Friday 1st September
9.30pm - 10.00pm
(sorry for my mistake yesterday =p)
KEEP THIS TIME SLOT FREE TO PRAY FOR ALL OUR FRIENDS and YES2 ITSELF!!! You are encouraged to call and remind one another before 2130hr and pray together (if possible) :) Ok that's all for now!! Enjoy your sabbaths, everybody!

"Footprints in the Sand"

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking along the beach with the Lord.
~
Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonging to him and the other to the Lord.
~
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand.
~
He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints.
~
He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.
~
This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it.
~
"Lord, You said that once I decided to follow you, You'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me."
~
The Lord replied,
~
"My son, My precious child, I love you and I would never leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I Carried You."

hmms.. well, i found this nice nice blog skin and haha.. since God provided me with time, im definitely glad to even jus put up this skin for our cell blog!! haha..
i was actually suppose to go down to beach road to get my BB pants for the ceremony, as mine is out of colour. (as in the top vs the bottom) (cos i got from diff suppliers..) haha... well, because the BB shop HAS STOCK, AND THAT THE SHOP ISN'T OPEN TODAY, i had the spare time to do this.. haha.. God definitely provides ya?? hehe...

whoo hoo! welcome to our new cell blog. :) this is gonna be so fun. whee...
we had cell outing yesterday. went to watch fireworks at esplanade. enjoyed it. tho it was like super crowded n super duper hot.
